- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with corporate objectives and drive operational excellence across the organization.
- Purchasing & Sourcing: Lead the procurement processes, including vendor selection and negotiation, to ensure the best quality and pricing for materials and services.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration, ensure compliance with agreements, and drive continuous improvement.
- Planning: Oversee demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management to meet customer requirements while minimizing costs and excess inventory.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing global supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and generate reports for executive leadership.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Fluent in English and Chinese.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing global supply chain operations and teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with expertise in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of global market trends and supply chain risks affiliated with international operations.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
